A division one enamel and Marcasite button
1 Extra large early 20th century example in a colorful enamel. We found this to be an interesting and cool example of early 20th century enamel work, The soothing mint green enamel accented with the black enamel is quite stunning and the center is set with a pierced cut under celluloid patterned inset. The 4 corners are set with rare MARCASITE OME, (marcasite's have 6 facets only and steels will not have 6 facets). Jose Roman had this in his collection and says he always had positive comments on it when he used it in his competitions at NERBA. It is truly a stunning and wonderful button.
