1 Large medium 18th century engraved dog example. In our last auction we sold two examples from what appears to be the same set as the borders and engraving are the same. Those examples depicted different dogs as does this very cool Husky or Alaskan Malamute example. The detail in the engraving is so fine that a master of the time had to have created this beautiful button. A truly wonderful sporting example in pure heavy silver with all its backmarks of quality and maker. The depiction of this kind of dog is a much harder dog to find on buttons of this age.

Issued: DIVISION 1=PRE 1918 AND DIVISION 3 IS AFTER 1918
Dimensions: SM=Less than 3/4", Medium=3/4" to 1 1/4". Large=1 1/4" and above, extra large=1 3/4" and above

Condition: These antique buttons may show age-related wear, and while notable condition issues are disclosed, buyers should expect vintage characteristics. We do not re-card buttons, so cannot guarantee the condition of backs or shanks on multi-button cards; additional condition reports are available upon request.
