1 Large 18th century hand carved natural material example. This hand carved example from the Dieppe area of France in the 18th century is set under a high dome glass crystal and set with a copper rim and tin back. Dieppe examples are always highly desirable among collectors and this example shows a house and tree landscape. The crystal domes on these have often been replaced with more flat crystals but this example is an original dome. Keep in mind that often these high domed examples can give a different effect or illusion as to the design under, that's why we have shown you images from many angles so you can see the detail and fine design of this uncommon technique.
