1 Large early 20th century red Cinnabar example. This pictorial is a scarce example to find in Cinnabar. Cinnabar is a mineral consisting of mercury sulfide. In this example the lacquer like material is carved deeply and depicts an Asian figure, the base is made of brass that was coated in red that has worn off to some degree and now you can see the brass self shank backing.
