A chair, designed by Harry Rosenthal, Berlin, around 1926, oak slats, soft wood and oak veneer, laminated, stained in dark brown, height 80 cm, depth approx. 63 cm, width 44.5 cm, height of seat (at front) 45 cm. All parts original, the surface restored. There was also a variant of this chair designed for a garden or terrace (slatted seat and backrest). Furniture by Harry Rosenthal is very rare, and no example of this type of chair has been recorded to date. Provenance: From a Berlin private household; according to the former owner, the chair was acquired around 1926.
