A WORKSPLATE "Yorkshire Engine Co. Limited No. 2431 Meadow-Hall Works 1948 Sheffield". As carried by "ST. HELENS No.2", an 0-4-0ST with outside cylinders that went new to the NCB's North Western Area's St Helens Colliery. It later transferred to Solway Colliery and was scrapped on site c.1969. Oval cast brass, 11"x6", face-polished and repainted only, and supplied with a polished wood display plaque.
