A WORKSPLATE “WG Bagnall Ltd Engineers No. 2754 Stafford, England”. As carried by an ‘Austerity’ 0-6-0ST with inside cylinders WD number 75166 delivered new to the Central Ordnance Depot, Barby, Rugby for storage on 12th October 1944. By July 1946 it was on loan to the Ministry of Fuel and Power’s Pilsley Opencast site. In November 1950 it went to Yorkshire Engine for repairs en route to Bennerley Opencast site at Ilkeston; back to Pilsley about 1961, then to West Hallam Opencast about 1962. It was scrapped by Arnott Young of Parkgate in July 1967. Oval cast brass, 8”x5¼”, unrestored.
