A WORKSPLATE "W.G. Bagnall Ltd No. 2990.1951 Stafford England". As carried by an 0-4-0 Fireless locomotive that emerged from Works in January 1951. It went to the Central Electricity Generating Board at Westwood Power Station, Wigan, and was named "WESTWOOD No.1". About 1967 it went to the C.E.G.B. at Slacks Valley Power Station at Chadderton, Oldham and was renamed "CHADDERTON No.3". It was scrapped on site in September 1969. Oval cast brass, 11 3/4"x7", polished and repainted. Supplied with a polished wood display plaque.
