A WORKSPLATE "The English Electric Company Ltd London 2966/8218-1961 Robert Stephenson & Hawthorns Ltd Locomotive Works, England". As carried by the British Railways Type 1 1000 H.P. BoBo diesel electric D8060 that emerged to traffic on 24th May 1961 at Darnall. It was renumbered 20060 Class 20/0 in October 1973, and in 1989 went to Hunslet Barclay as 20902 "LORNA", Class 20/1, for a summer weed-killing contract. It then went to DRS (Direct Railway Services) at Carlisle in 1998 and was denamed. Still with DRS. Rectangular cast brass, approx 10"x4 1/2".
