A WORKSPLATE "Peckett & Sons Ltd No. 1723 Bristol 1927". As carried by a Peckett Type W6 0-4-0ST with outside cylinders that emerged from Works in March 1927. It worked all its life for Settle Speakman & Co. Ltd., Queenborough Wharf, Kent and was scrapped in June 1960. Oval engraved brass, 12"x8 1/2", lightly face-polished only. The back bolts curtailed.
