A WORKSPLATE “Peckett & Sons Ltd No. 1703 Bristol 1926”. As carried by a Peckett Type R2 0-4-0ST with outside cylinders that emerged from Works on 25th October 1926. It worked all its life at the Barnstone Cement Company, Barnstone Cement Works, Nottingham, named “LANGAR”. It was eventually scrapped on site by Speck of Bottesford in September 1969. Oval engraved brass, 12”x8¼”, face-polished only.
