A WORKSPLATE “New Zealand Government Railways No.145.1914 Built At Hillside Workshops”. As carried by the NZR 3’6” gauge Class Ww 4-6-4T No. 569. A 1913 design used on suburban and short-haul passenger services on the North Island. In later years they were used on shunting and branchline work. Most survived into the 1960’s. Oval cast brass, 17¼”x11”, face-repainted only.
