A WORKSPLATE "LMS Built 1935 Crewe". As carried by 45018, the LMS Class 5 4-6-0, 5018, built at Crewe as Works No. 234 in 1935. It became BR 45018, was a longtime Carlisle Kingmoor engine, and was withdrawn on 24th December 1966 to be cut up by Drapers of Hull. Oval cast brass, 10 1/4"x6", painted red at some time, most of which has been removed. The ex-loco back is painted "45018".
