A WORKSPLATE “Kerr Stuart & Co Ltd No. 3071. 1917 London & Stoke”. As carried by an 0-6-0T ‘Victory’ class with outside cylinders that emerged from Works on 30th August 1917 going new to the Inland Waterways Department at Sandwich, Kent as their No. 15. In 1935 it went to the Powell Duffryn Steam Coal Co Ltd at Aberaman Colliery as their No. 19. Becoming NCB property at Aberaman on 1st January 1947 it was finally dismantled in 1962 and scrapped in 1963. Oval cast brass, 13”x6¾”, face-polished and repainted only. Accompanied by a polished wood plaque.
