A WORKSPLATE "GNR(I) 1917 Dundalk". Carried by either the GNR(I) Class JT 2-4-2T No.93 "SUTTON" built at Dundalk in 1895, rebuilt at Dundalk 1917 and withdrawn 1955; or the GNR(I) Class PP 4-4-0 No. 74 "ROSTREVOR" built by Beyer Peacock as Works No. 3801 in 1896, rebuilt at Dundalk to Class PPs (s=superheated); to the UTA in October 1958 becoming 74x; renumbered 42x in 1960; withdrawn in 1963. Oval cast brass, 8 1/4"x4 1/2", just lightly polished.
