A WORKSPLATE "Brush Traction No. 254 England 1960". As carried by the British Railways Type 2 1470 H.P. AlA&A1A diesel electric D5654 which emerged to traffic at Finsbury Park on 29th September 1960. It was renumbered 31228 Class 31 in March 1974 and was withdrawn from Tinsley on 31st May 1981. It was then re-instated to Toton on 14th February 1982, renumbered 31454 Class 3 1/4 in October 1984; 31554 Class 31/5 in October 1994 and is still in stock with Fragonset Railways. Quite a reprieve! Oval cast aluminium, 9 1/2"x5 3/4", in ex-loco condition.
