A WORKSPLATE “Brush Sulzer No. 658. 1965”. As carried by the British Railways Type 4 2580 H.P. CoCo diesel electric locomotive D1896 that emerged to traffic on 7th September 1965 at Darnall. It was renumbered 47377 Class 47/3 in February 1974, and is currently in store at Crewe Diesel Electric Depot. Oval cast aluminium, 9¼”x5½”, face-polished and repainted only.
