A WORKSPLATE “British Railways Darlington Built 1962 Power Equipment By Associated Electrical Industries Ltd And Sulzer”. As carried by the British Railways Type 2 1250 H.P. BoBo diesel electric D 5173. It emerged to traffic at Thornaby in March 1962 and became 25023 Class 25 in February 1974. Withdrawal came on 28th September 1980 from Haymarket and it was cut up at Swindon by March 1983. Rectangular cast aluminium. 13”x6½”, in ex-loco condition.
