A WORKSPLATE “British Railways Crewe Built 1965 Power Equipment By Brush Electrical Engineering Company Ltd And Sulzer”. As carried by D1681, the BR Type 4 CoCo 2580 H.P. diesel electric that emerged to traffic at Cardiff Canton on 8th May 1965. It was renumbered 47095 in March 1974 Class 47/0 and became part of the Sheffield Tinsley Railfreight Distribution Fleet. The locomotive is currently in store at Allerton. Rectangular cast aluminium, 13”x6½”, face-repainted only.
