A WORKSPLATE “Andrew Barclay Sons & Co Ltd Caledonia Works No. 2259. 1949 Kilmarnock”. As carried by an 0-4-0ST with outside cylinders that went new to the NCB Clackmannan Area, Devon Colliery, as their No. 4. In 1951 it went to Bannockburn Colliery then in about 1954 back to Devon Colliery. In 1961 it went to Glenochil Colliery, in April 1963 to Kinneil Colliery; about November 1967 to Area Central Workshops; in March 1970 to Manor Powis Colliery; about May 1973 to Frances Colliery, then about May 1982 to Glenrothes Council, Lochere Meadows Park, Fife, for preservation. Oval cast aluminium, 9¾”x7¼”, in ex-loco condition.
