A WORKSLATE “Kitson & Co. Limited 1912 Leeds”. As carried by the GCR 8K class 2-8-0, GCR 1186, built by Kitson as Works No. 4894 in July 1912. It became LNER 6186 Class 04/1 from April 1924; 3533 from September 1946; 3683 from February 1947; BR 63683 from April 1951. It was rebuilt to Class 04/8 in August 1953, was latterly a Tuxford and Langwith Junction engine, and was withdrawn in March 1965. Oval engraved brass, 10½”x6¼”, face-polished only. Supplied with a polished wood plaque.
