A Victorian mahogany sideboard having an applied moulded edge to the arched well figured mahogany veneered back with applied scroll carved centre shield and four pilasters with applied fretwork mouldings in turn above the plain flat top with moulded breakfront edge with central drawer with applied fretwork moulding and recessed panelled back beneath having an arched panelled cupboard door to either side with canted corners with applied fretwork mouldings, the left hand door opening to shelves and a cellarette drawer, the right hand to shelves and with plinth below. Height 56ins., width 79ins., depth 26ins. (see illustration)
