A Victorian gilt bronze mounted cut-glass bowl by F & C Osler, the bowl cut with bevelled squares and hob nail decoration with guilloche decorated rim with parrot side handles on square base with winged paw feet, stamped under base, 11.5ins F & C Osler of Birmingham, established in 1803, were renowned glass chandelier makers. They exhibited the famous glass fountain, the centrepiece of the 1851 Great Exhibition, and numbered amongst their commissions a pair of sixteen feet glass candelabra for Ibrahim Pascha, the ruler of Egypt. £500-700
