The first sixty-seven editions complete. 12mo, all in the original red bindings, gilt. The first edition copy is a first printing. The condition of the early editions is as follows: First - very nearly fine, with only slight fading to the gilt on the spine; Second - near fine; Third - a bit edgeworn but still near fine; Fourth - very good, with gift inscription and label; Fifth - very good; Sixth - very good or so, with weak joints; Seventh - fine; Eighth - near fine; Ninth - near fine or so; Tenth - very good. The subsequent editions are generally near fine or better, with an exception or two. Thirty-three volumes are signed by editor Ken Bressett, being the 27th (1974) through the 59th (2006) editions. The 58th edition (2005) is the FUN 50th Anniversary special edition and includes an original banquet ticket. Set also includes a 2002 S.S. Central America special edition signed by Bressett and a 2007 Tribute Edition reprint of the first edition. A remarkable set. The finest set of Red Books we have offered in quite some time. For a number of years it has been an avidly sought-after collectible in its own right. This set is notable for its condition, including a particularly nice first edition, first printing and strong overall condition for the first ten editions. The presence of 33 volumes signed by longtime editor Ken Bressett is icing on the cake.
