A VERY RARE DIVISION ONE HEAD BUTTON

Currency:USD Category:Collectibles Start Price:100.00 USD Estimated At:500.00 - 1,000.00 USD
A VERY RARE DIVISION ONE HEAD BUTTON
1 Medium size 18th Century pewter "TOPSY TURVEY" example. This is perhaps one of the rarest buttons I n the auction and the late Jeff Lee of Ohio paid dearly to acquire it many years ago. This button is rarer than the 18th century Topsy Turvey on natural material under glass like the one we sold in our October 2025 auction. Topsy Turvey means two heads in one, when you turn it upside down you view a different head. Both heads are designed into one design and is a trick looking button. This medium 18th century example was hand crafted in the 18th century and as said very, very rare.
