A Taff Vale Railway full title cast-iron Bridge Restriction sign. March 1st 1881. A very attractive sign with its different styles of lettering. Rectangular, 29¼”x18½”, repainted. The Taff Vale Railway opened in 1840 to operate a line from Cardiff to Merthyr and branches. It was grouped into the GWR in 1922.
