A TOTEM "PENMAENMAWR". BR(M) maroon, fully-flanged. VGC. Unusual larger lettering. A rare totem from the ex LNWR North Wales coast station, between Conway and Llanfairfechan, opened as "Penmaenmaur" in 1849 by the Chester & Holyhead Railway and renamed c.1860.
