A TOTEM "FRINTON-ON-SEA". BR(E) dark blue, half-flanged. No face chips although somewhat mottled (not faded). From the ex GER Essex coast station on the line to Walton-On-Naze. It opened as "Frinton" in July 1888; was renamed on 1st September 1888; "Frinton" again in 1969. THIS TOTEM HAS NEVER BEEN SEEN IN AUCTION.
