A Southern Railway enamel station TARGET “NEW MILTON”. In very good condition with very minor, restored, edge-chipping only and still fixed to its original backing-board. An ex LSWR station, between Brockenhurst and Christchurch, opened as “Milton” in 1888; renamed “New Milton for Milford-on-Sea and Barton-on-Sea” in 1897, “New Milton” by BR. THIS TARGET HAS ONLY APPEARED ONCE IN AUCTION.
