A South African Railways brass CABSIDE NUMBERPLATE “3092. 15F”. As carried by the SAR 3’6” gauge 15F Class 4-8-2 built by the North British Locomotive’s Hyde Park Works as Works No. 25976 in 1948. The most numerous SAR class, built 1938-48, as a total of 256. It was used on all types of traffic, operating into the 1990’s, and a number still survive operational. In ex-loco condition.
