A Slight Case of Murder (Warner Brothers, 1938). Title Lobby Card (11" X 14"). This comedy, based on a play by Damon Runyon, found Edward G. Robinson spoofing his own image as a tough-guy gangster. In this comedy caper, Robinson decides to take his beer business legitimate after the end of Prohibition. Within four years, he finds that he is almost bankrupt, the victim of bad-tasting beer. This title card shows signs of wear common to linen finish cards; flaking of the finish around the edges, pinholes, and small tears in the edges. Fine.
