A Silver Vase, Of slender baluster form, incised to body with two birds perched on a prunus tree and one bird in flight, the reverse of a gentleman with his boy attendant walking along a country side path, a memorial inscription and maker's signature and marks incised in between the two pictorial decorations, additional maker's marks to the base. Late Qing Dynasty, Height: 14 inches (35.5 cm); Total Silver Weight: 33.6 troy oz [Minor dents, surface scratches. This condition report states major condition issues only.] Note:According to the incised inscriptions on silver vase, it appear that the silversmith Ma Fang is memorializing the famous achievements of the late Qing dynasty famille rose porcelain painter Hong Yi Shun.
