<B>A Set of Twelve German Silver and Cobalt Glass Salts and Spoons<BR><BR></B></I>Martin Mayer, Mainz, Germany<BR>Circa 1900<BR>Silver, silver gilt, cobalt glass<BR>Marks: (crescent), (crown), <I>800</B></I>, (flower) <BR>2 inches high x 2.375 inches wide x 1.5 inches deep<BR> <BR>The twelve individual salts in the neoclassical style of oval shape pierced with floral swags between trophies raised on socle with square base, fitted with conforming cobalt glass liners; together with eleven salt spoons with gilt bowls and two additional cobalt glass liners.
