Ivanov in 1922.Depicting ballerina Tamara Karsavina in a vibrant costume inspired by Leon Bakst’s design for Stravinsky’s Firebird, her body arched and poised as if mid-dance, lavishly painted in vivid polychrome enamels and gold.Underside inscribed in Russian: "Т.
