Bavaria, circa 1735 The rectangular plate within a reeded and rocaille surround, the pierced cresting centered by an asymmetrical, acanthus-sheathed triple C-scroll surrounded by symmetrical scrolls and with further scrolls to the top corners extending down each side, the apron carved with scrolls and with a candle arm aperture 59 X 181/2 IN. (150 X 46.5 CM)
