<B>A SIOUX GIRL’S BEADED HIDE BONNET</B></I><BR><BR>c. 1890<BR> <BR>sinew sewn and lane-stitched in various shades of glass seed beads, with geometric motifs<BR><I><BR>Length: 7 ¼ inches<BR></B></I><BR><BR> <B>Condition Report:</B> In overall very good condition. Hide supple with usual wear and light staining. Inside near right bottom there is an ink inscription of “-#7807-“. There are some loose beaded rows and an apparent loss of only one small front horizontal row, approx. ½” in.
