A SHEDPLATE 55G (Huddersfield February 1957-January 1967; Knottingley December 1967-May 1973). In ex-loco condition. This shedplate was carried by 90325, the ex Ministry of Supply ‘Austerity’ 2-8-0 built by the North British Locomotive’s Queens Park Works as Works No. 24908 in May 1944. It immediately went on War Department service in Belgium, then on returning to the UK into store. While in store it was purchased by BR in December 1948 emerging in December 1949 as 90325. It was withdrawn from Huddersfield in August 1965 and cut up by Garnham Harris and Elton of Chesterfield in November 1962.
