A SHEDPLATE 15C (Leicester Midland 1935-September 1963, Kettering September 1963-June 1965). Basically unrestored. This shedplate was removed from 40402, the ex Midland Railway Class 483 4-4-0, MR 402, built as a renewal of a Johnson 4-4-0, also MR 402, with new frames and cylinders, at Derby in June 1922. It became LMS 402 Class 2P, BR 40402 and was withdrawn in September 1960.
