A SHEDPLATE 10A (Springs Branch Wigan 1935-April 1958, Carnforth September 1963-August 1968). Face repainted only. This shedplate was carried by 48519, the ex Stanier 2-8-0 8519 built at Doncaster as Works No. 1967 in September 1944. It went on loan to the LNER from new until July 1947, then going to the LMS as 8519 Class 8F. It became BR 48519, and was finally withdrawn in August 1968 from Rose Grove to be cut up by T.W Ward at Beighton in January 1969.
