Naples, circa 1785 Comprising ten armchairs and four sidechairs, each of the former with padded rectangular back with channeled surround and beaded frieze set with ribbon-tied crossed berried laurel branches to the crestrail, issuing flaring downscrolled acanthus-sheathed arms with lion heads to the tops and leaftip rosettes to the volutes, flanking a padded seat with incurved front edge, the seatrail set with rosettes, on tapering fluted sabre legs to the rear and tapering fluted legs with leaf-sheathed tops and bases and toupie feet to the front 36 X 27 X 31 IN.
