A Royal Worcester Parian Figure "Il Penseroso"], modelled as a classical maiden looking pensively downwards, her robes edged with a gilt and blue line, upon a circular base with impressed title, impressed factory mark and incised letter F, circa 1862, {40cm} {See illustration} *This figure is referred to in Sandon (Henry) Royal Worcester Porcelain (2nd edition), page 160, class 2, No 67 where it was apparently paired with a figure titled "L'allegro". The figure is sold together with a letter from the Dyson Perrins Museum Trust dated 1988 with confirmation of the above from the Honorary Assistant Curator, F E Laney £400-600
