Illustrated with an engraved plate of fossils, two folding maps and a folding geological map. 121 pp. Publisher's original cloth, bordered in blind on the boards and lettered in gilt on the spine. Binding a bit worn at the edges, and with the cloth on a portion of the front board discolored and rippled, short tear at the bottom of the front joint. Tears to a couple of the maps. Ex-library copy, with an ink stamp on the title page and a paper label on the backstrip. Hinges cracking but still sound.
