UPU, Post Card, 1901, Sea Post office, Victoria Period, One Anna, Tellicherry to Beyrouth, the letter was written on 1-10-01, the content of the letter is for asking stamps, dispatched from Tellichery on Malabar coast, cancellation seal TELLICHERRY with date is applied, cancellations of SUEZ, BEYROUTH, and SEA POST OFFICE with dates were applied, excellent condition, Rare.
Note: This postcard took the route from the Malabar coast in India to Syria via Suez. Suez is an artificial sea-level waterway in Egypt that connects the Mediterranean Sea to the Red Sea through the Isthmus of Suez dividing Africa and Asia.
