Description: A Rare Find! This Indian War era US Army Buckle is from Southeastern Arizona and was collected by famed treasurer hunter, Orville Mickens. Orville was the founder/owner of the Frontier Relics Museum at Dos Cabezas, AZ.. Orville scoured over historical sites (with permission when required) all across the southwest for over 40 years and amassed a huge collection of historical items. Orville passed away several years ago and the bulk of his collection wound up with Western Trading Post. This found relic buckle is still in nice shape considering and it is nicely displayed in a Riker's box. Maker: US. Approx Age: Circa 1870s - 80s. Size: Measures 3-5/8" wide x 2-1/8" tall. Condition: Pretty good for its age, keep in mind it is a found relic and obviously spent some time in the ground. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description. Shipping: There will be a $5 handling / packaging fee for shipping this lot. The actual cost of postage will be added on top of that.
