Flight Cover, Tata Air Mail, 1935, King George V period, First Direct Air Mail, 1 Stamp of 2As. Tied on the cover, dispatched from Bombay, and Sent to Mr. J.M. Cooper, Calcutta. Postmark “BOMBAY | 20- Hrs | 24 FEB | 1935 | FOR”. Octagonal Red seal that reads “Demonstration Flight | First Direct Air Mail | BOMBAY – CALCUTTA | 25th. February 1935”. Slogan cancellations “USE THE AIR MAIL AND SAVE TIME” in front and “Increase Your Business by Using Trunk Telephones” at back. “Tata Air Mail” label affixed on the front, minor torn on top otherwise exce llent condition, Rare.
