(Shaw, 1950s) A very rare painted ceramic chamber pot made by Evan K. Shaw pottery. Chamber pots like this were used exclusively as gifts from Walt Disney to Studio staff upon the birth of a child. The chamber pots were first made by Vernon Kilns in the 1940s and later by Evan K. Shaw Pottery in the 1950s, with the latter being slightly smaller and glossier. Measuring 5.5" in diameter and 4.25" tall, this blue pot is in very good condition with light crazing near the handle and Mickey’s nephews, and two small chips to the left of Donald's nephews.
