Characteristic of Lahore work, with fully-modeled Makara-head pommel and quillon terminals and pierced langets, enameled in red, blue and green overall. The lightly-curved blade well wrought of pattern-welded damascus steel retains its original finish. In its velvet-covered scabbard with fine silver mounts engraved and enameled en suite with the hilt. First half of the 19th century. Chape pinched. Overall length 92 cm.
