A RARE DIVISION ONE UNDER GLASS BUTTON
1 Large 18th Century silver pictorial under glass button. This very fine and unusual example of 18th century craftsmanship shows an embossed thick foil design under glass. We have had another example in a previous auction from this set. The embossed foil memorial example is set under glass with a copper rim and tin back typical of these 18th century buttons. The fine silver memorial has retained its brilliant silver finish all these 250 years since it was hand crafted. For all you 18th century collectors out there don’t pass this RARE example up, you'll end up regretting it later as it is a very fine and hard to find example..
