A Qajar dynasty Persian broadsword reflecting the neoclassicism of the reign of Naser al-Din Shah (1848-1896). A symmetrical hilt with a long, straight, double edged blade etched overall with Kufic inscriptions, fish and a snake. Mid-late19th century. Good condition, toning to metal throughout. Measures 33” overall. Est.: $500-$600.
