Chimu/Chancay woven sewing basket with incredible contents! Ca 1000 to 1200 AD, woven of local reeds, in rectangular form filled with large balls of original wool some died in various shades, set of spindle whorls with original sticks and a small skein of human hair also used in weaving. 14" L by 6" W by 3-1/2" H, good to excellent.

Provenance: Ex-M. Weinstein Collection, Denver, CO.
